What stays on your device

Sharing

If you tap Share on a reading, you choose where the image goes using the iOS share sheet. We never see what you share or where it goes.

Buying the app

You buy Inkblotter from Apple, through the App Store. Apple takes the payment and does not give us your name, your Apple Account or your payment details. Apple tells us how many copies were sold and in which countries. If you have chosen in your device’s settings to share analytics with app developers, Apple also sends us crash reports and usage figures that do not identify you.

If you write to us

When you email inkblotter@thepeninsularcompany.com, we receive your email address, your name if your email includes it, your message and any attachments. We use them to answer you and to keep a record of our conversation. Our email hosting provider stores these messages for us. We do not sell them.

We keep email for three years after our last contact. You can ask us at any time what we hold about you, to correct it or to delete it: write to the same address.
